New airport terminal soon to be opened

The new terminal of “Daniel Oduber Quiros International Airport” at 20 minutes from Pacific Gardens is almost ready to be taken in use. Construction of the new terminal took exactly one year. The opening is expected to take place in December or January. “Daniel Odubert” is the airport of Liberia, the capital of Guanacaste. The new terminal will increase the airport's capacity 10 times. The number of flights to Liberia will increase substantially, in particular from the US and Europe. Right now there are direct flight to Liberia from Houston, Miami, Atlanta, Newark and New York and from London, Düsseldorf and Brussels. Airlines flying to Liberia include Delta, American, Unites/Continental, JetBlue, AirBerlin and JetairFly.
